Western Power Distribution has postponed the planned programme to renew high voltage cables due to start on 30th March 2020 until later in the year.

The Government has postponed local elections that were scheduled to take place on 7th May 2020. This means that the current Parish Council will continue in office for another 12 months.
The Drop In session for interested candidates arranged for this evening 16th March 2020 will not now take place.

the Thames Water reports that, for the second time in as many months, a substance of oil/heating oil has come through the sewer network in Croughton and ended up at the sewage treatment works. The effect is to knock out the biological treatment process at site. Thames Water attended the treatment works on 21st January 2020 to deal with the problem.

An update from Caryl Billingham MBE who is the Chairman of the Brackley Community Hospital 2020 Trust which has been formed in respect of the new community hospital in Brackley which is currently under construction.

Subsequent to the Parish Council Meeting on 11th November 2019 the Parish Council was informed that the application for Double Yellow Lines along the section of the High Street to the east of the School had been turned down.
