Vacancy on the Parish Council

oFollowing the resignation of Cllr Pamela Gelder there is vacancy on the Parish Council. Local elections will be held in May 2020 when all 9 seats will be up for election.

One of the qualifications to serving as a Parish Councillor is that you must be 18 years of age.

Councillors are expected to abide by the Code of Conduct, complete a Declaration of Acceptance of Office and a Register of Pecuniary Interests. Meetings are held in the Village Hall at 7.30 p.m. on the second Monday of the month. Meetings are open to members of the public so there is an opportunity to come along to find out more about the role.
