Traffic Calming:

According to the Road Safety Team Leader data gathered by Northants Police suggested that the existing traffic calming features were working well. Croughton was considered well down the list of problem areas in terms of non-compliance, inconsiderate or reckless driver behaviour on a daily basis. Budgeting 2018–2019 Croughton Parish Council:

Taking into account potential price rises for electricity, improvements to the Memorial Garden in the Cemetery, and capital expenditure for the replacement of obsolete footway lighting lanterns, it is inevitable that the budget for 2018/2019 will be higher than the current budget. Budget proposals for 2018–2019 are published on the website www.northamptonshire.gov.uk and are out for consultation until 30th January 2018. Do have your say!

Croughton Poor’s Allotment Charity

'for the relief of people in need' has a vacancy for a Trustee.

According to the Trust Deed the Trustees consist of five 'competent persons' being:

• One ex-officio Trustee (incumbent of the benefice of Croughton)

• Four nominated Trustees (appointed by Croughton Parish Council)
